Prompt: In our world, countless crimes unfold incessantly, spanning every corner and every second. At this very moment, somewhere on our planet, a defenseless puppy endures unimaginable cruelty—a deeply distressing reality. It's a harsh truth that everything we can fathom, even the most heart-wrenching and abhorrent acts, are unfolding somewhere, perpetuating suffering and injustice. However, rather than adding negativity to our understanding, I posit that the fundamental issue plaguing humanity is pervasive hypocrisy. Consider this: if I were to show you a video portraying the torment of that innocent puppy, your heart would ache, and sorrow would wash over you. But what changes if you didn't witness that video? The puppy's suffering continues, regardless of your awareness, while you remain in blissful ignorance of the countless horrors persisting worldwide. This uncomfortable truth lies at the heart of our human condition. We often prefer to shield ourselves from the grim realities of existence. We tend to react with sadness, anger, or shock only when these horrors are thrust into our consciousness. This very reluctance to confront the truth perpetuates suffering and injustice. Hence, I choose to confront this darkness daily, peeling away the veil that people often prefer to keep tightly shut. It is an arduous path, but I firmly believe that it's through acknowledging the darkness that we can aspire to create a more compassionate and just world—even if we cannot eradicate all the suffering
